But which program you use depends on one thing: whether your site is run by you personally or by a registered company.
How it works
You contact us, we review your website, and if it has real activity and a real audience, we create a custom coupon code for you. You present this coupon to your users, they apply it at checkout, and they get a discount on their Avalw Shield license.
You can also attach your referral link to the coupon. When someone uses your coupon and buys through your referral link, you earn a commission on the sale in addition to offering them a discount.
What we look for
- Your website is active and has real content
- It has a real audience (traffic, followers, subscribers)
- The content is relevant (tech, software, deals, security, productivity, reviews)
- The site is not misleading, spammy, or deceptive
We don't require a minimum traffic number. A smaller site with genuine, engaged readers is just as valuable as a large one.
Two paths, depending on your situation
This is the important part. Which program applies to you depends on how your website is legally structured.
Path 1: You run the site as an individual
If your website is your personal project and is not registered as a company, you use the standard referral program. This is the same program available to all personal Shield accounts.
Here's what that means:
- You create a personal account on shield.avalw.ai
- You get your referral link from your account
- You contact us at business@avalw.ai to request a custom coupon
- We review your site and, if approved, create a personalized coupon code for you
- You share the coupon along with your referral link on your website
- You earn commissions through the referral program (11% to 28% depending on your tier)
This is the simplest path. No contracts, no applications, no minimum commitments. You share, people buy, you earn.

- Starter (0+ referrals): 11% commission
- Growth (30+ referrals): 15% commission
- Pro (100+ referrals): 20% commission
- Elite (300+ referrals): 28% commission

Path 2: Your site is a registered company
If your website is owned or operated by a registered company (LLC, SRL, GmbH, Ltd, or any other legal entity), the standard referral program does not apply. Instead, you need to apply to the Avalw Shield Partner Program.
This is not a limitation. It's a different program designed specifically for business-to-business relationships, with terms that make more sense for companies:
- Custom commission rates negotiated individually
- Dedicated account management
- Custom coupon codes with flexible discount amounts
- Volume-based pricing for bulk referrals
- Proper invoicing between legal entities

Why the distinction?

The referral program is simple and self-service because it's built for individuals. The partner program has custom terms because companies need proper agreements, invoicing, and a direct business relationship.
