Partner and reseller program: who it's for and how it works

The Avalw Shield Partner Program is designed for companies that want to resell, distribute, or promote Shield to their own audience or clients. It's separate from the individual referral program and built specifically for business-to-business relationships.

What the partner program is

The partner program is a formal business relationship between your company and Avalw. As a partner, you get custom terms that are negotiated specifically for your business model, your volume, and your market. This includes custom commission rates, dedicated support, co-branded materials, volume pricing, and proper invoicing between legal entities.

It's not a self-service signup. You apply, we review your company and your proposal, and if it's a good fit, we set up the partnership with terms that work for both sides.

Who is this for?

The partner program is open to any registered company that can bring Avalw Shield to an audience we wouldn't reach on our own. Below are the main categories of partners we work with, but this list is not exhaustive. If your business model doesn't fit neatly into one of these categories but you think there's a good fit, reach out and we'll discuss it.

Affiliate networks and platforms

Companies that manage affiliate programs, run performance marketing campaigns, or operate affiliate platforms. You have publishers, influencers, or content creators in your network and you want to add Avalw Shield as a product they can promote. We set up tracking, commission structures, and reporting that integrate with your existing workflows.

Software resellers and IT shops

Businesses that sell software licenses to end users or to other companies. Whether you run an online software shop, a B2B IT solutions company, or a managed services provider, you can add Shield to your catalog. You buy licenses at volume pricing and resell at your own margin, or work on a commission basis.

Digital marketing agencies

Agencies that manage advertising, content marketing, or lead generation for clients. If your clients are in tech, cybersecurity, enterprise IT, or any space where screen privacy is relevant, you can recommend Shield as part of your offering. We provide the materials, you handle the promotion, and commissions are tracked through your partner account.

Deal and offer platforms

Companies that operate deal websites, flash sale platforms, coupon aggregators, or group buying services. You feature Shield as a limited-time offer or a permanent listing on your platform. We provide custom coupons, landing pages, and promotional content tailored to your format.

Media companies and publishers

Online publications, tech review sites, YouTube channels, podcasts, newsletters, or any media company with an audience interested in privacy, security, or productivity software. Sponsored content, editorial reviews, banner placements, newsletter features. We work with your editorial team to create content that fits your audience.

IT distributors

Companies that distribute software to retailers, MSPs, or enterprise clients across a region or market. You handle the logistics, the local relationships, and the support. We provide the product, the licensing infrastructure, and the technical backing.

Corporate IT and procurement

Companies that want to deploy Shield across their organization for all employees. This is not reselling but direct enterprise licensing. You get volume discounts, centralized license management, deployment support, and a single invoice for the entire order.

How is this different from the referral program?

The referral program is for individuals. It's self-service, automated, and has fixed commission tiers. You sign up, get a link, share it, and earn.

The partner program is for companies. It's a negotiated relationship with custom terms. The commissions, the pricing, the support, and the expectations are all different because the scale and the context are different.

A person recommending Shield to a friend and a company distributing Shield to 10,000 customers are in completely different situations. The partner program exists because companies need terms that match what they bring to the table.
